ATM Configuration Menu screen options.
LEC Configuration
The LEC Configuration screen (Figure 3-36
) allows you to specify parameters
and port assignments for the LEC virtual ports.
When you configure your LEC virtual ports, you must also use the VLAN
Configuration screen to assign the specified LEC to a current VLAN or to a new
VLAN (see “
VLAN Configuration” on page 3-41).
You can assign the LEC virtual ports to either one of the two physical ports
(A1 or A2).
Choose LEC Configuration (or press l) from the ATM Configuration Menu screen
to open the LEC Configuration screen.

Option Description
LEC Configuration...
Displays the LEC Configuration screen (see “
LEC Configuration” on
page 3-85
). This screen allows you to specify parameters and port
assignments for the LEC virtual ports.
ATM MDA Configuration...
Displays the ATM MDA Configuration screen (see “
ATM MDA Configuration”
on page 3-88
). This screen allows you to set up and view ATM configuration
parameters for the ATM MDA.
MDA Software
Download...
Displays the MDA Software Download screen (see “
ATM MDA Software
Download” on page 3-91). This screen allows you to upgrade your ATM MDA
with the latest firmware code.
Return to Switch
Configuration Menu
Exits the ATM Configuration Menu screen and displays the Switch
Configuration Menu screen.
